Privacy

www.lisajaynebloomer.com is committed to protecting your privacy. The information collect about you will only be used lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

This site uses cookies in a number of ways. First off though, let me explain what a cookie is (...aside from something to eat with a mug of tea...much tastier in my opinion).

Cookies are usually small files that are stored on your computer's browser. They are created when you use your browser to visit a website that uses cookies to keep track of your movements within the site, help you resume where you left off, remember your registered login, shopping cart contents, and other customization functions. The website stores a corresponding file to the one in your browser and in this file they can track and keep information on your movements within the site and any information you may have voluntarily given while visiting the website, such as email address.

So, how do I use them?

  • I use web statistics software to help me understand what areas of my site are more or less popular. Through this I can also see how people arrived at my site which help me with my marketing.
  • If and when you register on my site then my software tracks your movements, and more importantly what you've placed or removed from your shopping basket. For example, should place something in your shopping basket on my site without actually purchasing it or removing it, then it will remain there for 30 days. If you re-visit in that time you'll be able to start off from where you left off, whereas if more than 30 days have elapsed you'll start from scratch.

If you choose not to use cookies on my web site then whilst you will still be able to browse all my work as normal, you won't be able to purchase anything. And if you have already purchased, you will not be able to login to view your past orders or print an invoice off.
